The concert was a fabulous success!!! So many came out to help us "Bring Gracey Home!" The music was great, the popsicles were delicious and refreshing and the silent auction was exciting! Thanks to all who came out and enjoyed the evening. Thanks also to each of the bands who played so well. So many worked hard to pull of the benefit concert and we were moved by everyone's generosity.
Debi Blaising confessed after the concert that she hoped to raise $2,000 to help us bring our girl home. Her kids told her she was dreaming and that it would be great if the concert brought in $1,000. BUT GOD --- the "Bring Gracey Home" Benefit Concert raised over $3,000!!! Can you believe it? God is SO good and the Blaising family is simply amazing! Thanks just doesn't seem adequate.

As far as an update on actually bringing Gracey home, there is not much news. We are still in that dreaded "hurry up and wait" stage. Our dossier is in Colombia and has been reviewed. The Colombian government had a few requests from us that we were able to complete within a week - yet another miracle! Now that the revisions are hopefully translated and back in Colombia, we wait yet again. The window for traveling this fall is getting really small but we remain hopeful. We would love to have our baby girl home before she turns 3 in November.
